A CAREER-LED, FRENCH GRADUATE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

ESIGELEC, a not for profit institution, trains aspiring young minds in a wide range of engineering streams - intelligent connected systems, electronics, information technology, energy, robotics, biomedical engineering and related areas. Our project-based pedagogy anticipates the needs of employers today, who seek individuals with technical expertise, the ability to think critically and people skills.

With a history of 120 years, placed number one in the state of Normandy, ESIGELEC features in the top ten Grandes Ecoles in France, across various ranking exercises : 4th in the country for electronics and information systems, 3^rd for energy and environment engineering, 9^th for multi-disciplinary training and several others.

IRSEEM, our state-of-the-art laboratory, gives our students and faculty access to the latest platforms and a first-hand experience of technological advances, as they happen!

Our 80+ university partnerships span the globe and offer our students innumerable opportunities for a stint outside France, of various durations : semesters abroad, year abroad, double-degrees, summer schools, internships, to name a few. 35 % of our students, are foreign nationals and a large majority of them are degree-seeking. Around 50 visiting faculty from all over the globe make us a truly international Graduate School.

96% of our students find employment in the first four months of graduating. Several large corporates mentor our graduating batches – Vinci Energies for the Class of 2020, Orange for the class of 2021 and Groupe Renault for the batch of 2022.

ESIGELEC is nestled in the Madrillet Tech Park, in the city of Rouen, just a two-hour drive from Paris. The Tech Park is home to many well-known HEIs and allows for an enriching experience, abuzz with over 40,000 students. The city of Rouen, with its historic city centre, museums, cultural events and its sports facilities, satisfies the myriad desires of its visitors. You will also discover France, which remains the most visited country in the world and is also the gateway to Europe!

Over 35 student associations give you the opportunity to participate in various activities ranging from sports, to social service, cultural events and much, much more…and remember, you can bring your ideas along too and create your own student club!
